JMO

JMO (Jhohan Muñoz), born in Medellín (Colombia), is a music producer and DJ who captivates the world. From an early age he became familiar with loneliness and feared that he would not be able to bear such an empty life. But when he discovered the rhythmic, electronic and sharp sounds, he realized that those who were not heard were not so alone. Today he receives every frequency that reaches his ears and flows through his body with gratitude to the universe. Thank you for listening to me. The atmosphere of loneliness taught me that music is more real than people. I learned that the frequencies are a sign of gratitude from the universe. In the beginning, JMO was interested in music production and used a DAW called LMMS to understand what was required for techno production in general. After understanding music sampling, he focused on mixing, practicing on consoles such as the Pioneer DDJ400, XDJ XZ, DJM900 and XDJ1000. He later discovered new tools and workstations like Ableton Live to learn how to use analog machines, sequencers, synthesizers and rhythm machines. There he expanded his knowledge and began publishing his first music productions on digital platforms such as SoundCloud, Beatport, Bandcamp and Submithub. After seeing his audience's reaction to his content, he decided to also send his productions to record labels. He has been signed by labels such as Hynospital Sounds Records for releasing singles and Manizales Transcendence Records and THMM Manizales labels for music sessions. His music is characterized by constant and repetitive sounds with detailed rhythm changes that create a hypnotic atmosphere and transport you to a 90s club atmosphere where all that matters is being one with the music.
