After many years, the distillery in the heart of Leipzig has to vacate its long-standing location on Kurt-Eisner-Straße. But before the doors are finally closed, you are cordially invited to the last dance in the sacred halls. Take advantage of this last opportunity to shake up the place again and create unforgettable memories. The Distillery has been a fixture in the Leipzig club scene over the years and has attracted numerous music lovers and night owls. With its unique atmosphere and a wide range of musical genres, the distillery has left an unmistakable mark. Now it is time to say goodbye and honor the end of an era. For all those who cannot make it to the last day in the distillery, you are invited to the final rally on May 29th from 2 p.m. in front of the Tille. Here you have the opportunity to celebrate the past years together with the friends of the distillery and to toast the unforgettable moments that this place has given us all. We loved you with all our hearts, even if it sometimes ripped through all the cracks, the energy supply wasn't really climate neutral, the toilet took the plumber out of his Christmas vacation one time or another and whatever headaches you caused our caretakers, you were a loyal soul to us for many, many years. If there were more of you, how beautiful the world could be. Only you know all the secrets about the many people who call you their living room. Countless love affairs have their origins in your walls and it's not just the redstarts that have bred here. Now unfortunately we have to leave you and move on. We will take the positive energy you have stored within your walls with us to a new place. There we will keep memories of you and yet take new paths. To honor you, we're going to let it rip again for 72 hours last weekend. Many people will come to say goodbye to you. We will celebrate, we will laugh, we will go to our favorite places again, touch you and caress you one last time. And we will fight for the many others who are like you. Thousands will gather at your gates and shout loudly to the world that places like you matter, for the people, for the cities, for the world. Because in places like you, things happen that change the world for the better. Here we are not separated, here superficial differences don't play a role, here people are allowed to be who they are. Here we enjoy the energy of sound, light and space, here we connect in a way that is still foreign to many.
